The Samsung/Kraft Foods/Crane Merchandising System’s “diji-touch” touchscreen vending machines grabbed the consumer media’s attention during the NAMA National Expo in Chicago. The high-tech vender that allows a user to scroll digital representations of candy and snacks was introduced during the NAMA Spring Expo in Las Vegas and was the highlight of news stories about the national expo, which drew hundreds of vending operators and suppliers to Chicago.
