Selecta achieves top Environmental Accreditation

Vending operator Selecta has achieved the top environmental accreditation ISO14001 across its entire estate in the UK and Eire.

The accreditation is an important milestone in Selecta’s ongoing commitment to providing a sustainable approach to vending. To achieve ISO14001 from the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Selecta had to satisfy a number of strict policies for its Environmental Management System, demonstrating it has identified and controlled the environmental impact of its activities, products and services, implementing and achieving environmental policies and targets, as well as continuing to improve its environmental performance.

The accreditation comes as part of Selecta’s ongoing commitment to providing its clients and their customers with a sustainable vending solution. Andy Mee, Managing Director, Selecta UK said: “Selecta wants to be at the forefront of sustainable vending, working in partnership with our key stakeholders to deliver a great vending solution and sustainable business model. The ISO14001 is a significant milestone in a number of activities we are doing as part of our sustainable approach.”

Selecta’s ISO14001 accreditation is part of its commitment to reduce its carbon footprint, handling waste efficiently, and increasing its ecological product offer to continually improve its environmental performance. Through its “Sustainable Approach”, Selecta is dedicated to an ethical business practise that respects the environment, helps communities in the UK and globally, offers the highest quality products for its consumers and provides a safe and enjoyable workplace for its employees.
