Nestlé has announced the launch of its 2011 ‘Get Set, Go Free’ promotion, which offers consumers the opportunity to try out a range of activities free of charge throughout the summer holidays, and for the first time ever Nestlé Professional will be taking part.
The promotion, which is now in its sixth year, is fronted by World Diving Champion Tom Daley and backed by a £3m media campaign. Get Set, Go Free offers consumers the opportunity to ‘go free’ on a range of 27 activities, and will be launched across a variety of products in the Nestlé Professional coffee and confectionery ranges.
It couldn’t be easier to participate. Consumers can collect activity points from a range of promotional packs including Nescafé & Go cups, Nescafé Original coffee tins, jars, and serve stick packs, as well as Rowntree’s hanging bags. The free activities on offer include swimming, horse-riding, golf, climbing and snowboarding, with over 5,000 venues in the UK and ROI participating. Points can be banked directly on www.getsetgofree.com or via the new Facebook page and then exchanged for an activity voucher. Activities can be claimed up until 31st July 2012.
Neil Stephens, Managing Director, Nestlé Professional said: “This promotion shows our commitment to sharing extra value and rewards our customers’ loyalty. Last year, Nestlé achieved a promotional uplift of 26% on the previous year, which demonstrates the opportunity available for operators who are selling on the products. This year Nescafé Original, Nescafé & Go and Rowntree’s hanging bags join the promotion, bringing even more value for customers and consumers.”
