Premier Foods reinvigorates vending portfolio

Premier Foods is adding to its vending portfolio, giving operators more solutions for their hot drinks and soup offerings.

Bringing a more premium range to the market, the manufacturer has launched Simplicity – a four-strong range of products including Gold, Non HVO Whitener, Hot Chocolate and Lite Hot Chocolate, designed to produce a consistent texture with innovative agglomeration technology.

Premier Foods is also expanding its soup range with new Batchelors 750g bag Cup-a-Soup for vending machines in three flavours. Containing additional flavouring and ground croutons for long-lasting taste, the Tomato, Chicken and Cream of Vegetable soups now all have an innovative no-stir formula. The updated recipe means an even smoother product, with a consistent and easily blended finish.

Tim Wright, national account manager, at Premier Foods, comments: “We have introduced agglomeration technology – a process that binds the powder together to help it better dissolve in liquid. This allows us to create ranges with a smoother-than-ever finish. The process ensures that there is improved mixing with no need for stirring and reduced residue.

“There is a growing love for our Batchelors brand, and growing sales within the retail channel which we expect will equate to subsequent sales in vending. The flavours are some of the brands most popular, meaning operators can bring an established and well-known product to their vending offer.
