Specialist B2B parts delivery service Parcel Holders launched its new website www.parcelsuppliers.co.uk at Vendex North in November.
The new site has been specifically designed with parts suppliers in mind. It encourages them to register, before inviting their customers to create their own Parcel Holders accounts and upload details of their field service engineers. That way, next time a customer orders parts from the supplier, the consignment will be delivered automatically to one of Parcel Holder’s PUDOs (PickUp DropOff points). The customer’s engineer picks up the part and gets on with the job.
A company spokesperson advises: “As a Parcel Supplier Member, you’ll have your own Members page, complete with your company logo and a link to your own website. Think of it as a little extra help for your marketing department.”
Planned new features include a page dedicated to marketing to suppliers’ customers; a page with useful help videos and a Developer Page for all the technical aspects of the business, such as the Vendman integrated API.
