On track with double contract win

Two new contracts have been won by Selecta to provide vending solutions to a pair of leading rail operators owned by National Express.
The first involves the provision of snack and cold beverage vending services at 25 stations for c2c, which transports more than 25 million passengers each year. Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Selecta will provide 35 machines offering leading brand cold drinks and confectionery at stations between Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness including Upminster, Barking, Grays and Basildon. Under the second agreement, Selecta will supply more than 100 machines at 80 stations for National Express East Anglia, which operates on four main routes serving stations including Southend Victoria, Colchester, Cambridge and Norwich. The contract is for five years.
Available from Selecta’s vending machines at both stations will be popular branded confectionery products from Cadbury and Mars and cold beverages from Coca-Cola and Britvic.
“Millions of passengers each year travel on trains operated by National Express East Anglia and c2c and we are excited to be working with both,” says Selecta Sales and Marketing Director Jonathan Barr.
David Lewis, sales and marketing director for National Express East Anglia, commented: “We are pleased to work in partnership with Selecta in the provision of vending services for our customers at stations.”
