NRI support charity climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania

When former business partner Owen MacNeil of Canada explained of his plan to climb a mountain for a good cause, it didn’t take NRI long to decide. “We take our social responsibility seriously,” explained Gary Partridge, company Marketing Director. “Thus, when Owen came to us with his idea we were all ears.”


Owen MacNeil is the former president of Hi-Tech Gaming in Canada. “Hi-Tech really helped to put NRI on the Canadian gaming map. We really appreciate Owen’s support throughout the years and so it was natural to support Owen in his quest,” explained Partridge.

Owen bore the all the travel costs of his trip to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro himself so that all money sponsored went to the “Make a Wish” charity whose mission is to grant the wishes of children between the ages of 3 and 17 with life-threatening illnesses. Owen’s goal was to raise $15,000: “We actually managed $20,000. Many thanks to all who have supported us, especially NRI.”
