After 50 years in business, Refreshment Systems has appointed Steve May as commercial director and Sue Sproston as head of operations and logistics. The move is expected to help the company drive forward and evolve to the next level.
Steve brings over 15 years of experience of working in the coffee industry, both in sales strategy and commercial management, and more recently being a part of the in-house roastery team. He also has extensive experience managing multi-million-pound accounts, including many well known high-street names and nationally recognised brands. The company is thrilled to have Steve on board and are excited for the next 50 years with the experience and wealth of knowledge that he will bring to the team.
“I join the company at a time of growth and am looking forward to help develop the sales and marketing team and our product offering to the market” said Steve. “I have a fantastic team and cannot wait to see what we can achieve together.”
Sue joins the company with over 25 years’ of experience in the vending arena, with the last 16 years been fully operationally focused. Her background covers the full spectrum of vending operations, strategy and management on a national scale.
“I am so thrilled to join the company at such an exciting time and be part of the next phase of growth” said Sue. “There is so much opportunity and I cannot wait to get started.”
