Marcus Gover appointed CEO of Wrap

Marcus Gover mono_25 - head & shoulders copyLeading circular economy charity WRAP has announced the appointment of Marcus Gover as its chief executive, taking effect from 1 July 2016. Marcus, who is currently operations director at WRAP, replaces Liz Goodwin, who is stepping down after 9 years as CEO.

Marcus Gover commented: “I’m absolutely delighted to be chosen to lead WRAP, an organisation with a history of success and a bright future. To create a world where resources are used sustainably requires action, and that is where WRAP’s focus will continue to be.”

Liz Goodwin, current CEO, WRAP, said: “I’m delighted that Marcus will be the next CEO of WRAP. We have worked together for many years and I know he is passionate about the issues WRAP works on as well as caring deeply about WRAP and its staff. I am confident he will lead WRAP through the next stage of its development and on to further success.”

Marcus has worked in the environment sector for over 25 years, in the UK and abroad. Prior to joining WRAP, he was the commercial director of a start-up renewable energy company.
