LIW comes of age with 21 great ideas

LIW, the largest show for the leisure industry, is introducing 21 initiatives this year to celebrate its 21st birthday.

The first of these is a fresh look for the show with the launch of seven distinctive sub-brands to cater for the range of sectors served within the leisure industry. The brands – Attractions Expo, Health & Fitness, The Sport Show, Pool & Spa, Licensed Business Show, Leisure Facilities and Eat & Drink – will be clearly identified within the show with signage, carpeting, branded entrances and show features. The move is designed to better serve the needs of both exhibitors and visitors to the event with more efficient navigation in the show’s three halls and allowing visitors to find the exact products and services they are looking for with greater ease.

In addition to its new look, LIW has launched a recommended supplier finder service. Exclusively for visitors, the free service helps leisure professionals source the best suppliers at the best price saving them both time and money in-between editions of LIW. Visitors simply email chris.brown@ubm.com with details of the project they are working on as well as the types of suppliers they are interested in, and LIW will use its extensive network of contacts to find at least three suppliers that meet the criteria.

“The rebranding exercise and our new supplier finder service are just two of 21 exciting new initiatives that we are launching this year in the run-up to the 21st LIW. We have consulted visitors and exhibitors to find out what they want most from the show and we’re confident that our 21 new ideas will make LIW 2009 excel and set the benchmark for the next two decades. Watch this space.” says Show Manager, Chris Brown.

All Things Nice Vending will be exhibiting at this year’s LIW.
