AG Barr are working in partnership with Every Can Counts, a project aimed at recycling all cans within the workplace. Getting involved is a great way for vending operators to give their CSR credentials a boost.
Every Can Counts provides free materials to help collect empty drinks cans in the workplace and make sure they’re recycled. Recycling of drinks can helps the environment by cutting down on energy and carbon emission – and its now a legal requirement for businesses in Scotland.
Organisations receive free Every Can Counts branded materials such as collection bins, bags, posters and table talkers to help spread awareness of recycling around the workplace.
Once collected, the cans collected are picked up by a Collection Partner. Some collection partners pay cash for cans, some pick up for free and others carry a small charge for the service.
