Expert forum sets out a vision for vending 

Questions such as How will the vending industry change? Which players will dominate the vending market in the future? Where is there new business potential? and What are the industry’s coming trend themes? will be answered at euvend & coffeena 2019 to be held from May 9 to 11 in Cologne.This year the motto of the “Visions of Vending” expert forum – held on May 10 – is “The Future of Vending”.  Topics under discussion will include “Market Trends in Europe”, “Vending in China”, “The Internet of Food” or “New Work as a new market for the vending industry”

Speakers will include:

Fabio Ziemßen,consultant and speaker (EFood-Blog): The “Internet of Food” – where and how people will shop in the future. In his capacity as a consultant and industry expert, Fabio Ziemßen organises meetings nationwide for innovators and start-ups from the food environment. As director food innovation at METRO AG, he is responsible for the new business unit NX-FOOD.

Birgit Gebhardt, trend expert and author of the book “2037 – our everyday routine in the future”: New work as a new market – how the new work culture of the vending industry gains new territory.
Customer-oriented thinking, agile working, informal knowledge exchanges and new rituals are changing the office landscape – and with it the spectrum of offers of the vending industry are also changing. The New Work expert, Birgit Gebhardt, outlines new concepts, plans and facilities for making work easier and for the provision of the digital nomads.

Petry Zrubecky, managing director of Leading Consulting Solutions: Vending in China, market/myths development. Petr Zrubecky has been working in the international vending industry for 30 years already. He has been employed as a consultant focusing on business development and vending in China for 11 years and is an expert on this market.

Erwin Wetzel, managing director of the European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA): Market trends in Europe. Erwin Wetzel, has been working for the European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA) since 2011 where he took over as managing director in 2014. The association has 120 members from all segments of the industry, which are either national associations or individual companies. Previous to 2011, Erwin Wetzel was assistant to a member of the European Parliament and represented the interests of the Association of Austrian Municipalities in Brussels.
