Douwe Egberts puts added value back into vending at Vendex

For the first time, Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems will be showcasing its wide variety of vending solutions to visitors attending the Vendex exhibition this year. Sharing a stand with leading in-cup provider Brupac, the company will be showcasing its new range of freeze-dried instant vending products, bean to cup branded concept including new vending paper cup designs at stand A20-22.

The company will be displaying its flagship freeze-dried instant brand, Pure Gold, which is currently the fastest growing freeze-dried instant coffee brand in the retail sector. Available in 10x300g packs, Douwe Egberts’ Pure Gold is made from a blend of the finest coffee beans, roasted to give a medium and well-balanced flavour, making it an ideal trade-up for vending operators.

Douwe Egberts Original will also be available to sample, the Douwe Egberts entry level vending offering which provides customers with a high quality, cost effective product available in 10x300g packs. Additionally, visitors will also be able to find out more about a Decaf vending option and an UTZ Certified 100 per cent sustainable option, Goodorigin freeze dried. By choosing this option vendors can trace their coffee back to the farm at which it was produced. By entering a unique code, on the back of the packaging, into the Douwe Egberts website, vendors can see the exact location at which the beans were harvested – the industries first fully traceable coffee product, launched in 2006.

As a Vendex exclusive premiere, Douwe Egberts will be showcasing a new bean to cup branded concept – including machine branding, paper cups and premium quality espresso beans. As the market is gradually moving towards a high street café style offer, Douwe Egberts’ objective is to help operators add value back into their offer and compete with high street chains in providing a full blown, high quality coffee menu that delivers on its promise – at outstanding value for money.
