The British Water Cooler Association (BWCA) has launched a series of hydration fact sheets called Why Water Matters…
There are currently six in the series, describing Why Water Matters for…
- Hotels.
- Food service and catering workers.
- Children.
- Construction workers.
- Public sector workers.
- Salons and spas.
These provide information of the hydration benefits offered by water coolers and reminding people in charge of soft services including facilities managers that the BWCA is the leading association representing those who supply and distribute water coolers and related products and services. The association sets rigorous standards of hygiene and safety for members through mandatory audits.
The hydration fact sheets also describe the importance of promoting healthy hydration for staff and other building users. The fact sheets give advice on choosing the correct coolers for particular needs and locations and the factors to take into account in choosing a mains-fed or bottled water cooler for particular requirements.
Finally, each fact sheet includes is a simple visual, colour-coded guide helping people to check whether they are correctly hydrated.
