The British Water Cooler Association (BWCA) has announced details of its speakers at the forthcoming ‘Power of the Past; Force for the Future’ conference to be held on 14 March 2013.
They are:
BILL BRUCE, Group Editorial Director of FoodBev Media
As Group Editorial Director of FoodBev Media, Bill has observed and written about the water cooler industry for close on 15 years. He considers the key issues of hydration, service and people, while taking a hard look at quality, lessons from the past, and opportunities for the future.
JOHN DUNDON, BWCA Chairman
John has worked in the water cooler industry for over 20 years, and gathered a wealth of knowledge from experience working at Sparkling Spring UK, as MD of First Choice Watercoolers and MD of Nestle Watercoolers and now at Angel Springs, where he is Managing Director. John will give his personal views on the industry and the BWCA from the perspective of the past, and outline his thoughts on planning for the future.
STEPHEN FALDER, Inventor & Founder director of Byotrol Plc
Stephen describes himself as a Microbiologist, Paint maker, and entrepreneur. He is the inventor of Byotrol Technology and his family business is the UK’s largest paint manufacturer. He is a passionate advocate for a proper understanding by governments of the value of and needs of specialist industries that are not always the first concern of regulators. He was the youngest president of the paint industry trade association (the BCF) and will speak on his experiences which he believes have resonance for the BWCA.
IVA HATZOLD, Market Intelligence, Zenith International Iva is a member of Zenith’s market intelligence team, conducting research for Zenith’s global beverage databases and compiling market reports specifically on the water cooler sector.
PAT McFADDEN, MP
Following a role as Political Secretary to Prime Minister Tony Blair, Pat McFadden was elected as Labour Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton South East in 2005. He is a Member of the Treasury Select Committee and a Member of the Parliamentary Commission for Banking Standards. He will incorporate the effect of the current banking issue and the economy on SME businesses and how he believes they can best face the future.
The price of the half day conference for non-members is £149 plus VAT and bookable through the website.
The conference is followed, in the afternoon of 14th March, by a free-to-enter trade show from 12:30 – 17:00.
