4 Aces drives forward with second annual golf day

4 Aces returned to The Belfry for its annual golf event last month.

The packaging specialist welcomed guests to its second celebratory two-day, golfing event, which culminated in an awards dinner for guests from the worlds of vending, water and distribution who had gathered to enjoy the event.

Attendees were able to mingle with the 4 Aces team and enjoy play on the acclaimed PGA National and the Brabazon courses, as well as make full use of the hotel’s leisure facilities.

4 Aces accommodated all levels of play, allowing for a mix of experienced golfers and first-timers. Managing director of 4 Aces, Chris Penn, said: “Ultimately, it’s not about the golf – although everyone certainly enjoys that aspect. It’s about the opportunity to relax and socialise with clients and friends in the industry, enjoying each other’s company and strengthening bonds.

“Most of the guests have contacted us since to say how much they enjoyed the occasion. It looks like it’ll be a regular event on the calendar for many of our good associates in the years to come.”

Ross Macdonald, from vending supplier the Upton Group, said: “What a great couple of days and what a fantastic team at 4 Aces. The effort everyone went to is very much appreciated.”

Water coolers and water supplier, the Water Wellbeing Group’s Andrew Vickers, added: “Thanks to 4 Aces for its most generous hospitality for two outstanding days at the Belfry. It was a first-class event led by an enthusiastic and attentive group of people who are, both individually and collectively, a real credit to the company.”

The overall winner was Office Water Coolers’ Peter Brooks who was presented with the Diamond Cup trophy by Chris Penn. Almost £1,000 was raised for international water aid charity, Just a Drop.
