Thirst for bottled water growth

With bottled water driving beverage market growth around the world, plans have been announced for the next UK Bottled Water Conference on March 12, 2019 in central London.

Speakers include key names from brands, retail and research including Coca-Cola, Danone, Highland Spring, Nestlé and Tesco.

The main theme will be ’Thirst for Growth’ and presentations will include a range of innovations such as alkaline water, energy water, infused water and stress relief water.

Plastic and waste will also feature strongly, with a particular focus on deposit return schemes and extended producer responsibility.

“This will be our 27th annual conference for the UK bottled water industry,” commented Zenith Global chairman Richard Hall.  “The UK market has grown beyond imagination since the first industry event in 1992 under a halo of healthy convenience.  This year, we devote most attention to the new challenges facing business leaders, from consumer shopping and added product functionality to concerns over plastic and sustainability.”

The event is designed for business leaders, innovators, retailers, suppliers and advisers to gain a complete overview of consumer and market trends along with the most promising opportunities.

Zenith Global will also be launching its 2019 UK Bottled Water Market Report at the conference, with statistics from 2012 and projections to 2022, including figures on segments and packaging, companies and brands, distribution and foreign trade.
