‘Taste of Toque’, the mini spin-off culinary challenge from the highly regarded premier college catering competition – Nestlé® Toque d’Or – was launched at the Hotel and Catering Show, for one day only (15th March) when college students came together in teams of two to battle it out to impress the seasoned judges, with Worcester College stealing the show and winning ‘Taste of Toque’.
As the winning college, the Worcester team and a guest each will attend the glittering Nestlé® Toque d’Or Ceremony to be held in London on 8th July 2011. In addition, the winners, together with those who achieved second and third place will have an opportunity to attend the BBC Good Food Show in June as special guests of Nestlé Professional®. All colleges taking part receive a certificate, whilst runners up and winners take home a medal in recognition of their achievement.
