Premium juice brand Sunmagic is launching a ‘Hydra Fizz’ range of children’s sparkling juice drinks as it continues to invigorate the back-to-school soft drinks market with healthier and more innovative school-compliant products.
The Hydra Fizz range contains 50% fruit juice and is made using spring water, providing one of the recommended 5-a-day, and comes in six tasty, school-friendly flavours including: Tropical Twist; Berry Medley; Apple Crush; Very Cherry; Fruit Smash; and Zingy Lemon. The sparkling juice drinks are packaged in a tall, slim, 300ml PET bottle, which is exclusive to Sunmagic and gives excellent standout on shelf. Each bottle has an RRP of 45p.
The new range targets 8-16 year-olds but is also suitable for the whole family. The Hydra Fizz drinks are school-compliant throughout the UK, adhering to new government guidelines regarding what kids’ drinks can and cannot contain.
The range is being supported with a heavyweight marketing campaign including social media activity, POS material within education dining and stores, as well as a series of online and print adverts within the trade and consumer press. Razin Ali, Sunmagic’s brand manager, said: “We are delighted to be introducing Hydra Fizz to the market, following the incredibly successful launch of the ‘Hydra’ brand of kids’ healthy soft drinks two years ago. Our Hydra brand of school-compliant products already accounts for 20% of our sales, which shows just how important this sector of the market is.
“Until now, the Hydra brand has included two ranges: Hydra Juice and Hydra Blast. Hydra Juice is made with 75% juice and available in 24 x 200ml cartons and also 12 x 330ml bottles which contains 45% juice, in five innovative flavours: Orange, Lemon & Lime; Apple & Mango; Strawberry & Cherry; Fruit Punch; and Raspberry & Blueberry. Hydra Blast features a sports-cap for easy on-the-go drinking and comes in the following flavours: Amazing Apple & Blackcurrant; Outrageous Orange; and Awesome Apple. It is made from 45% juice and spring water.
