RPC-Tedeco-Gizeh wins Mars Drinks’ Gold Supplier Award – again!!

For the second year running, Mars Drinks has rewarded RPC Tedeco-Gizeh UK with its Gold Supplier Award for outstanding business achievement in 2011.  The award recognises exceptional quality and delivery performance throughout the year as well as rewarding the overall professional approach taken by RPC Tedeco-Gizeh in meeting the needs of its customer through a proven programme of continuous improvement at the Kenfig site.

Amy Kaine, Commercial Director Europe commented –  ‘’Mars Drinks and RPC Tedeco- Gizeh have worked together for many years and the relationship has evolved into a true partnership. RPC Tedeco-Gizeh designs and produces the plastic cups used in the Mars Drinks Klix in-cup beverage system. A continuous supply of high quality cups into our factory is an important link to the overall success of Klix beverages across Europe. This solid business understanding has enabled us to develop a truly customised product and continue working together on future innovations for mutual benefit.

David Lowe – General Manager commented “We truly value and respect our business relationship with Mars Drinks and are privileged to be part of such a successful partnership. The Kenfig site already benefits from full ISO accreditations and certification to BRC – A grade standard. However the Mars Gold Supplier Award recognises actual proven product and supply performance over a 12 month period and it is because of this that the RPC team at Kenfig were so proud to achieve the award for the first time last year. To achieve the award for the second year running is exceptional.”

Rubicon takes off at Manchester Airport

Sales of Rubicon, the exotic juice drink from AG Barr, are flying at Manchester Airport thanks to an innovative new drinks merchandiser, the Broderick Touch – the first of its kind in the UK.

Broderick’s Touch, from Manchester Vending brings a whole new dimension to vending thanks to a fully integrated, 19-inch high definition, interactive touch screen menu with high resolution graphics and fully integrated speakers. The machine has the primary function of providing hot beverages but also has a number of other unique features including the ability to screen brand’s TV adverts.

Manchester Vending stocks the new Rubicon Stills range in 168 of their glass fronted merchandisers in Manchester Airport and has positioned 32 of the Broderick’s Touch machines alongside with the Rubicon TV advert playing on the screens.
