By popular demand, NIVO arranged a regional seminar for members’ which was a very successful event.
Held in the Midlands, 30 NIVO Operators and Supply Partners joined together for a networking event exhibition and business speakers. The theme was ‘working together & selling better’. Following lunch and the opportunity to see the 13 mini exhibitions, the scene was set at the seminar itself.
Per Edwards of Walkers gave shopper insight to help operators better understand consumer trends and developments designed to help operators better target customer needs.
Kevin Moorhouse of Believe then gave a highly entertaining and relevant discourse on how we can be more effective at increasing our sales, even during difficult economic trading conditions.
Following an update on AVA matters a very healthy and open Q & A session dominated by regional operators, was enjoyed. Both Operators and Supply Partners agreed that NIVO should organise further events, and plan for 2 more regional NIVO seminars which are being planned for 2012.
