Susan, along with fellow commodities representative Quentin Knowlson from Nestlé, has a remit to look out for the interests of supplier members and present their views to the Board.

This new appointment is in addition to Susan's existing role on the organising committee for AVEX 2009, to be held at Birmingham's NEC on June 10th and 11th next year.

Susan has over 20 years' sales and marketing experience, including 12 years in consumer brand marketing having worked for Scholl Consumer Products, Sara Lee and Carlton PLC.

In 1996 Susan joined Kraft Foods, parent company of The Kenco Coffee Company, in their Away from Home division. Since then she has held several senior marketing positions with the company in addition to her current role, including Trade Marketing Manager and Consumer Insight Manager.

As part of Susan's role at Kraft Foods, she represents the company on The Paper Cup Recovery and Recycling Group - set up to work towards an industry solution for the recycling of paper cups.
