Three levels of security with Sielaff
Published:  17 April, 2008

Sielaff's Robimat 75 robotic glass-fronted can and bottle vending machine is being made available in three different versions with increasing levels of security features. The Robimat ‘Classic' is the entry-level model, while the ‘Comfort' and ‘Premium' versions offer enhanced security which will appeal to users and operators for sites where vandalism is an issue.

All models in the Robimat 75 range feature a robotic arm and conveyor belt system which gently lower merchandise to the delivery pocket, making it perfectly suited for vending carbonated soft drinks, glass packed products or other, equally delicate, lines. At ten seconds per vend, the machine is widely regarded as having the fastest dispense of any machine in its class.

Security as standard

The Robimat 75 Classic is a highly secure machine, manufactured with a multi-layer glass door. Standard throughout the range is a locked delivery shutter that only opens to allow product to be vended. This prevents vandals from reaching into the machine through the delivery aperture. In addition, an important security feature is its twin door access system. This means that product areas are separated from the cash box section, so that the money is secure whilst the machine is being refilled.

In addition to the standard security features on the Robimat Classic, the Comfort model has a front door panel which is re-enforced with an intermediate PC-film for additional protection. The operating panel is upgraded to stainless steel and incorporates locking lever protection with a CES-lock and a door gap overlap strip for additional security protection.

The top of the range Premium model includes all the security features found on both Classic and Comfort versions but, in addition, has a glass door made from 15mm reinforced PET G-pane glass, which is virtually indestructible. Additional security features only found on this model also include a coin insert slide and a change return drum.

Sielaff UK General Manager, Karen Nash, stresses Sielaff's commitment to security: "Sielaff has a deserved reputation for the robustness of its machines and the innovative measures incorporated to prevent vandalism. With the Robimat range, users can now select a level of protection that closely matches individual site requirements."
