Datateam Publishing is pleased to announce the appointment of John Sewell as Editor of Vending International, the longest established magazine serving the UK automatic vending industry.
With some 26 years' experience working with the vending industry, John is a member of the respected Vending 21 Club - an organisation which was actually established by the first editor of VI.
A trained journalist, John entered the field of Public Relations and, following a period of 10 years in marketing services management within Unilever, started a marketing communications business in London's Covent Garden working closely with, among others, Nestlé Foodservice , the AVA, AVEX, several operating companies and Save A Cup Recycling. Other clients included Nokia, Securicor and the Finnish Chamber of Commerce.
For more than five years, John has been editing another successful publication serving the vending industry, where he developed his vending contacts both in the UK and Europe.
"The vending industry is once again going through a period of change and seemingly never-ending consolidation," he explained, "and I am delighted to have been asked to become Editor of Vending International at this time and help drive the magazine forward, together with its excellent website."
