Vending International
Chrysalis School for Autism
Published:  20 January, 2008

Three years ago, Apogee international and members of the Vending Industry gifted a vending machine, servicing and ingredients to TreeHouse, a National Centre for Autism Education. In August this year, Apogee Director Elaine Wood, started another project, this time on behalf of the Chrysalis School for Autism in Codicote, Herts, where her daughter Anna is Head of ABA.

The school is looking to relocate and needs funds and so suppliers and customers alike were approached to help. The vending industry cam up trumps and Elaine has been able to present £1000 cheque, plus £2500 worth of ‘auction prizes' for the London City Charity Ball. The Prizes included ‘weekend' stays at top hotels, Vintage Champagne, Porsche Branded goods, and restaurant meals.

Apogee's Managing Director David Wood said "It's great to see the Industry rallying round, and for that, we thank them"
