On a cold Thursday evening in January, over 100 guests including AVS members, suppliers (new and old) and friends of the industry got together at The Belfry Hotel, Sutton Coldfield to wish Brian Tustain, a very happy retirement from AVS where he held the position of Chief Executive for over 18 years.

This black tie event was hailed a great success by all who attended and the speeches and presentations left Brian completely bowled over.  Rob Cowley, AVS Chief Executive thanked Brian on behalf of the AVS Membership for all of his outstanding support and service during his time at AVS and look forward to his continued support over the many exciting years to come.

AVS also held its annual 2011 ‘Supplier of the Year’ Awards , which Brian duly presented the trophies and plaques to the winners as voted for by the AVS Membership.  The winners on the night were; Crane Merchandising Systems - Equipment Manufacturer, Automatic Retailing, - Ingredients & Commodities, Vendman Systems – Service Support and the AVS Member of the Year was presented to Brian Leahy, AVS Board of Director and Chairman of AVS Member, MannVend Ltd.
