The Board of Directors of N&W Global Vending S.p.a. is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Zocchi as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st January 2012. He succeeds Antonio Cavo, who - in a planned succession process - will remain as Chairman ensuring a smooth transition and management continuity.
Mr. Zocchi has been Chief Financial Officer of N&W Global Vending S.p.a. for the past nine years, having joined N&W in 2002 from NetSystem. Before that he was Group Controller at Knoll International and then VP Finance & Development of McDonald’s inItaly, where he played a significant role in developing their retail operations as they opened 250 stores over 5 years.
Mr. Zocchi qualified as audit manager with PWC. He holds a graduate degree in business administration from theUniversityofAncona. The Board is confident that Mr. Zocchi has the skills and the experience to build on N&W’s position and lead the Company in its next phase of growth.
The Board would like to express its thanks to Mr. Cavo for his exceptional contribution to the development of the Company over the past 11 years, and for his willingness to continue serving it in the role of Chairman. Under Mr. Cavo’s leadership and thanks to continuous product innovation and international expansion, the Company has grown from its regional roots to be now the world leading producer of automatic beverage and snack vending machines.
