On Wednesday 23 November 2011, as part of his last tour as Executive Chairman of Associated Vending Services, Brian Tustain visited the new Barry-Callebaut Vending UK Ltd premises in Lea Green St Helens. The association between Fekade Zewde and Brian - pictured - is one stretching back to the earliest days of the AVS Group of companies.
After looking at and discussing all aspects of the operation and recognising the potential the new premises provided for future growth, Brian said he was quite impressed with the overall layout and presentation of the facility. Following discussions relating to the relocation of the operation and understanding the difficulties and pitfalls quite easily encountered in such ventures, Brian considered the progress achieved in such a short timeframe as commendable. .
Fekade offered ‘It was good to see Brian on site for one last time’ and stated, ‘In bidding farewell to Brian we extend our greetings to John Crowley as the new Executive Chairman of the AVS Group’.
