Van Houten Carolina is a new hot chocolate drink from Barry Callebaut that is truly characteristic with it's high content of cocoa. A premium beverage especially formulated for the vending and HoReCa markets, it contains a 48% cocoa content while giving a true chocolate taste sensation.
Over the 2 days at Avex, a marked interest in the new Carolina product was shown by visitors to Stand D40, despite what was generally considered to be a fairly low turnout.
The Carolina Taste Experience available on stand confirmed to many samplers that it has a unique, pleasing and distinctive chocolate taste. Sales for the remainder of 2011 seem set to rise significantly.
Additional sales emphasis was given to the new 100% milk and virtually fat free 'Classic’ Granulated Skimmed Milk now availablle to both the HoReCa and vending markets.
