AVEX is here. It’s been a two year wait but AVEX is back at the NEC on Wed 15 and Thurs 16 June. With over 120 exhibitors it promises to be a tremendous event, jam packed with all that is new and different in vending and water. This time the scope of the exhibition and the range of exhibitors is wider than ever.
All sectors of the industry will be at AVEX, so you can meet machine and component suppliers, food and drink producers as well as specialised vending operators. There are major brand names such as Kraft, Cadbury, Mars, Nestle, Britvic along with newer more unusual suppliers. And they come from all over the world with exhibitors drawn from the UK, the rest of Europe as well as Colombia, Korea, New Zealand and the USA.
There is a wonderful mix of exhibits – chilled water dispensers, disposable cups, cashless payment systems, vending machines, machine surrounds, ingredients (such as coffee, milk, sugar and flavoured syrups), soft drinks, fruit juices, confectionery, savoury snacks and lots, lots more. And then there are all the ancillary products – payment systems, cashless systems, filters, etc as well as specialist operators who bring it all together to meet customers needs.
On both days there are FREE seminars on the dedicated seminar stand on the exhibition floor. Invited speakers and industry names will address topics such as those from the Royal Mint on identifying counterfeit coins, a panel on why green doesn’t just look good, but is market driven by consumers, all the gen on water filters and from top accountants and tax advisers Deloittes on VAT treatment of vending sales. There is no need to book you can drop in to listen to the talks which catch your imagination.
Full information on the seminars, lists of exhibitors and details of how easy it is to get to Birmingham are all available on www.avex2011.co.uk.
