To add a little warmth to the cold, Aimia Foods has announced that its Galaxy hot chocolate brand will be one of the official sponsors at three seasonal ice rinks – The Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland.
The brand will be highly visible at all of the ice rinks and Galaxy hot chocolate is available at official food outlets and at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland, where the drinks will be on sale at the seasonal ‘Bavarian-style’ cabin.
The seasonal activity will be supported through a series of competitions in local print and online media, offering readers the chance to win ice skating tickets for one of the sponsored rinks.
Carys Delve, category marketing manager (hot drinks) at Aimia Foods, said: “With an estimated 1.7million visitors expected across all three sites over the festive season, the locations offer great opportunities to reach our target audience and raise brand awareness.
“Galaxy hot chocolate has long been considered the perfect winter warmer and now we are delighted to be able to position the drinks as an ideal ‘après-skate’ or post-shopping treat for visitors to the ice rinks and Winter Wonderland during the festive season.”
