Vendia unifies branding after record 2008 results

Vendia announced record sales growth of over 5% - beating the Group's trading budget by 2% - with profit levels reaching a five-year high during 2008 and also achieved industry recognition in 2008 with its Café Joe range of Fairtrade hot beverages being nominated as a finalist in the industry's Brand Innovation Awards.  

The company plans to unify four of its subsidiary businesses under the Vendia brand later in 2009. The current VMI North, VMI Wales, Integer and Simply Drinks business units will be renamed Vendia North , Vendia West and Wales, Vendia Midlands and Vendia South. Whilst the business unit names change, Vendia's operating entities will continue to have strong regional focus with the flexibility to adapt and respond to local needs. Vendia's single portion drinks supplier, Drinkmaster, is unaffected by the change.
