GVS employs more and notches up a first
Published:  25 February, 2009

GVS reports that over the past year it has taken on more than 50 new employees, rounding off the year with the employment of its first-ever female technician, Katherine Gradwell.

Totally independent, GVS offers a comprehensive service proposition based on unbiased, unaligned advice on all aspects of beverage service and equipment for drink, food and snack provision. The company now employs some 200 people, 130 of which form the service team.

Katherine has been working as a vending service technician for some 11 years, beginning in Avenance Vending before moving to Bunzl Vending Services in 2003. She is now based in Manchester.

Her appointment is part of continuing development by GVS of its service arm, with new technicians being employed across the UK, plus additional personnel in logistics, finances and sales teams.
