The new PolyMignon pressure reducing valve from Abbeychart controls hot or cold water and air pressures over a wide range on its own with a single adjusting spring and no need for changing components.
This compact unit has a high flow rate capacity and a competitive specification, enabling inlet pressures of up to 15 bar (210 psi) to be reduced to between 0.5 and 6 bar (7-85 psi). Its corrosion resistant body is made from FDA and WRAS approved materials.
Offered with 1⁄4in BSP female or John Guest push-fit port options, its small size and light weight make the unit ideal for space-saving applications and systems where room is limited but an effective product is required.
Water temperatures up to 100° C can be handled in the BSP version or 65° C with the push-fit. The valve is fitted with gauge test ports. Overall size is just 68mm high and 40mm long, BSP or 54mm long for the push-fit version, with a weight of 70g.
