BRITA has further extended its professional range of filter solutions with the arrival of the new Purity C range of filters, which incorporates an option for all sizes of beverage vending machines. This new range combines ease of use, and flexibility with technology and recyclability, enabling users to consistently provide the best tasting drinks whilst protecting their investment.
Acknowledging the trend towards ever-smaller, low-cost machinery, BRITA's development of the Purity C range allows cost effective delivery of BRITA filtered water in any machine format - with cartridges in three sizes C300, C150 and C50 for different capacity requirements. Measuring as little as 27cm in height, Purity C filters can be operated horizontally, vertically or even upside-down, allowing for the widest possible range of installation options.
Three heads
For additional flexibility, the Purity C range includes three types of head with varying bypass settings to allow for differing requirements of adjustment. All Purity C heads and cartridges are interchangeable, allowing the user to select the optimal combination from the range for his requirements. The filter size can be changed at any time without having to mount a new head on the machine eliminating the need for a costly conversion process.
A water short-cut feature enables the upstream machine to be operated even while the cartridge has been removed for exchange, minimising machine down-time, maintaining the ease of use.
Simple replacement
When the filter cartridge is exhausted, it can be exchanged in a simple, quick, tool-free replacement process. The system can be easily depressurized for opening via an integrated push-button flush and bleed valve in each head. The rapid locking system is both simple and safe allowing for fast, easy, operator exchanges.
Innovative IntelliBypass technology ensures consistent, high quality water over the whole life of the filter, this is critical for low volume and flow rate situations such as espresso machines.
Explains Guido Möller, International Product Marketing Manager, BRITA Professional Products, responsible for the development of the Purity C range: "The goal was to offer users optimal water quality, simple handling and the highest level of product reliability at an attractive price. The major challenge was to incorporate Purity technology in the small filter cartridges".
With more than 40 years' experience in water filtration, and with recycling as a standard practice since 1992, BRITA is a leader in the provision of filter solutions to the food and beverage industry.
The brand is now proven in out of home environments. Recent branding trials within the vending sector have seen a 11.3 per cent uplift in cup sales when featuring the BRITA logo on the machine. The strength of the brand reassures customers that the taste of BRITA filtered water they experience at home, will be reflected in the quality of the drink dispensed.
Continued investment
The company continues to invest significantly in building the strength of its brand with heavyweight investment in consumer advertising. In addition it has been recently recognised again as a top 500 UK Super Brand.
BRITA's solutions can now not only offer the functionality of a water filter but a wider banded partnership offering. This combination gives the potential of higher site income while, at the same time, protecting machinery and reducing ongoing service and repair costs.
With the company's global commitment to ongoing development in all areas, this growth can only strengthen the future benefits to the end users both consumer and professional alike.
The BRITA Professional range is either available from the company itself, or via Becktech the official distributor to the vending sector. Becktech has over 25 years' experience in vending so, like BRITA, it offers not only a range of products but the expertise to help the sector become stronger.
