This month, the EVA Operators Forum meets for the fourth time to continue discussing issues of common interest for operators. After Paris, last spring, the Forum is being organized in Germany, with the support of the BDV, the German Vending Association.
Staged last year in Italy, as an initiative by CONFIDA, the forum rotates upon invitation by the national associations. It is chaired by Fioravante Allegrino, Managing Director of SOGEDA, and a member of the EVA Executive Committee. The agenda points for the next meeting are all suggestions from participants and will include: the financing of machines; the image of vending; theft and fraud; plus other issues of immediate interest.
The delegates will meet on November 6th for a ‘Rustikaler Abend', a laid-back dinner and networking event in a typical Bavarian restaurant, while the meeting itself will take place on the following day. The format has progressed from a half-day to a full day, as participants felt that they needed more time to discuss pertinent issues. Simultaneous interpretation will be available from and into German, Italian, French and English.
