When the first PowerMate stairclimber appeared in Gibraltar the close-knit business community watched with interest. VenCom supply large vending machines to businesses and in high-rise blocks, and delivery could sometimes be a challenge.
Director Justin Durrant acquired a heavyweight PowerMate M2B from Stanley Handling and immediately began drawing a crowd as he unloaded equipment and negotiated steps, staircases and corridors. Business enquiries followed and the team are regularly hired out to companies handling a range of items, most recently lift motors which would otherwise have required a helicopter lift!
As Justin commented; "I was unsure at first but the PowerMate has been a revelation. We couldn't do the job we do without it now."
