Marco Beverage Systems, better known as a leading manufacturer of bulk brew coffee machines and water boilers, claims that its Ciocco chocolate dispenser adds choice to the hot beverage menu. Ciocco is a compact, quality, Italian-styled dispenser capable of accepting both powdered and liquid ingredients.
Continental style chocolate is a short, viscous product, high in cocoa solids, with a sophisticated taste - quite different from the sweeter products which are generally served in this country. Ciocco has been designed to dispense this continental-style chocolate from a stylish but compact dispenser that is equally at home dispensing powdered chocolate mixed with either water or milk.
Ciocco mixes, heats and dispenses hot chocolate. It has a removable 5-litre bowl, so at the end of each day, any remaining product, if water-based, may be removed and refrigerated for re-use next day. The machine itself is available in black, chrome or gold and takes just 20 minutes to bring product up to temperature. The temperature is variable using thermostatic control and the unit itself is very quiet in operation and uses a standard 13amp power source. The mixing bowl is easily removed and re-assembled after cleaning.
Marco's UK Sales Director, Chris York, explained the potential of the new machine: "The UK taste for hot chocolate has been conditioned by vending style products. The continental way is a slightly bitter, more viscous product, drunk rather like an espresso coffee and in the same volume. This style of chocolate also lends itself to making quality Mochas with the freedom to add flavourings for that special touch. Our new Ciocco is a simple way to heat and serve it.
