Major UK vending services provider Selecta is to become one of the sponsors for the Educational Infomat Campaign (EIC).
The company, which provides food and beverage vending services to more than 200 primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities in the UK, is to lend its support to the campaign which provides free resources to educational establishments including computer hardware and software, books and sports equipment.
EIC is also responsible for the provision of the Education Network, an online resource which provides free educational and national curriculum content as well as catering for the day-to-day management and redevelopment of schools, colleges and universities. The network is used by head teachers, teachers, bursars, project managers, parents and students of all ages and is currently accessed by more than two million people each month.
Under the terms of the agreement, Selecta will become EIC's recommended education vending supplier. An outline of the services the company provides to the education sector will be included on the Education Network. Regular email bulletins will also be distributed by EIC, including information on new products and equipment or any special offers available from Selecta.
Selecta will sponsor EIC's Infomats, computer mouse mats which are sent out to schools, colleges and universities. The company's name, logo and web address will feature on the mats.
"We are very pleased to be working with the Educational Infomat Campaign which will help strengthen our presence in the education sector," says Selecta Sales and Marketing Director Jonathan Barr. "We already have considerable experience of working with schools, colleges and universities and are committed to ensuring that students and teachers have access to a reliable, high-quality vending offer wherever we work."
