More than 200 Azkoyen vending machines are in use at the International Expo Zaragoza 2008, where more than 100 countries are participating, taking a surface area of 62,000 m2. The Expo slogan is ‘Water and Sustainable Development'.
Approximately 200 state of the art automatic Azkoyen Sienna and Mistral machines will be meeting the needs of over eight million visitors from over 100 countries. Around 40 sections, separated into areas open to the general public, service areas and public thoroughfares, are equipped with vending points offering hot beverages, cool drinks and snacks.
The technology provided for this international Expo site incorporates the most advanced payment and communications systems, permanently providing the control centre with up to date information on stock levels, any problems and of any other relevant data. All the cold drinks and snack machines feature a product lift that collects and transports chosen products, gently placing them on a collection tray, without dropping or shaking.
