Abbeychart steams to success

Vending supplies company Abbeychart of Faringdon, Oxon, recently ran a highly successful clients and families day out on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway on a train pulled by company founder and Group Chairman Peter Best's own locomotive, with the dual aim of raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and giving good fun to over 200 guests.
The ‘Abbeychart Express' steam locomotive steamed its way from Pickering to Grosmont and back, a journey of about an hour each way through some of the most stunning scenery in the country. £1,250 was raised for the cancer patient care association.
