The Coal Authority, the organisation set up to regulate and licence British coalmines, has awarded 7 Day Catering the contract to manage the catering and hospitality services at its Mansfield headquarters. Provision of catering at the site, which has 100 staff, includes 'break-out' restaurant areas, kitchenettes and hospitality together with a supply of beverage machines.
The site will have four catering staff serving cooked-to-order breakfasts and lunches from Monday to Friday, and the contract, worth in excess of £150,000 will run for three years. Lisa Fyfe, operations manager at 7 Day Catering, commented: "This contract strengthens our expertise in the B&I sector and we're looking forward to building excellent working relationships with the Coal Authority."
