More Costa than counter-top
Published:  16 May, 2008

AVS Supplier of the Year - Westomatic Vending Services - promises to ‘eliminate the need to compromise to choice' with the Prelude bean-to-cup table-top machine, which features Westomatic's new, simple gravity-fed paperless brewer that produces a punchy bean-to-cup coffee and the perfect cup of freshly brewed leaf tea.

Mark Rhodes, Marketing Manager at Westomatic explained: "Our machine supply partners are under pressure to provide something new which rivals the high-street coffee shop experience. The answer is the Prelude which is more ‘Costa than countertop' and is guaranteed to make the right, all-important, first impression".

The Prelude's sleek metallic hues and retro curved fascia combine with a simple, single choice selection menu offering a wide range of coffee house quality beverages including; Italian style bean-to-cup coffee, traditional freshly brewed leaf tea, creamy hot chocolate, decaffeinated or fair-trade coffee, and café-style drinks including latte, café au lait, cappuccino and macchiato. There's also an  intense espresso and mochaccino. They are all freshly made within 20 seconds - that's claimed to be half the time of other bean-to-cup machines and with no compromise in quality.

A stylish, matching H2O base cabinet doubles as a water dispenser, transforms the Prelude into a complete free-standing, space-saving beverage solution, eliminating the need for a separate water cooler.

Mark added: "The high street coffee shop boom has heightened consumers expectations of coffee and beverages today and the Prelude's speciality bean-to- cup coffee and fresh tea range is living up to those expectations."

The Prelude's green credentials are kinder on the environment (and business purse, too). An in-built energy management system, distinct lack of any energy-sapping fluorescent light tubes, and the use of reconstituted materials make the Prelude a good choice for the environmentally friendly business.

Westomatic is using state of the art data retrieval and programming with easy to use USB technology. Without the need for any complicated software, operators can now audit cash, measure drink trends, upload ingredient gram throws and drink prices in a matter of seconds.

The company is taking the Prelude ‘on tour' this month, with locations scheduled for a visit including Scotland, Manchester, Nottingham and South West London. Distributors interested in attending any of the road shows should contact Westomatic on 01626 323100.
