Packaging experts Huhtamaki have launched new, bio-coated vending cups.
The ever-increasing demand for sustainable products has led the company to develop its vending range, and the new cup is not only a welcome addition to the existing range of single-use BioWare cups, but is, as with all BioWare products, completely compostable.
The new vending cup is available in the popular 9oz size, and available in the attractive BioWare stock design, or can be customised - a useful promotional tool.
Manufactured using materials from sustainably managed forests (which can be tracked back to their origins), the cup's cartonboard material has the Forestry Stewardship Council's (FSC) chain of custody certificate. In addition, thanks to the cups innovative biocoating, the product can be composted in industrial composting facilities.
All BioWare products are certified in accordance with EN13432, the European ‘norm' for compostability of packaging.
