With social responsibility and environmental issues headlining across the globe, the demand for safer, cleaner and greener water provision is the next big thing and one UK manufacturer is already proving ahead of the ‘hydration' game its pioneering point of use water system.
Westomatic Vending Services has long recognised the growing demand for chilled and filtered water in the workplace and is giving businesses and consumers what they want - an unlimited supply of safe, mains-fed ‘bottled-at-source' quality water in one eco-friendly package. With sales up by over 200 per cent in 2007, following machine placements in a number of high profile blue-chip companies, the popularity of the pioneering Azure system is set to continue in the UK.
However, the Azure is now set to make a name for itself in Canada and the US, too, following apparent demand from Hollywood movie-stars. According to Westomatic's Marketing Manager, Mark Rhodes: "It seems that actors are determined to ‘go-green' on set and are asking to use their own re-useable stainless steel flasks and high specifiation water dispensers, rather than using disposable plastic cups and bottles.
"We have already managed to secure an export contract, posibly worth over 100 units in the first year, with a newly-appointed distributor in Canada. The market interest in the Azure has been nothing short of phenomenal with enquiries from a number of clients including the prestigious Universities of Harvard & Yale".
With features including sustainable and environmentally friendly LED lighting, flash-chillers (which only cool water when it is actually dispensed) and own-cup or bottle fill options, the Azure meets the strictest of environmental standards. With an unlimited supply of mains-fed UV filtered water for great taste and total safety, the Azure also eliminates the need for bulk water deliveries and the hassle associated with traditional systems. Other features now include the ability to offer a full change-giver, stylish new moulding and four buttons offering still, carbonated and optional Del-Monte flavoured fruit drinks.
