MARCO LAUNCHES NEW ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY WATER BOILER RANGE AT HOTELYMPIA 2008 - Stand S1610
Published:  07 February, 2008

Marco Beverage Systems will preview its latest energy efficient water boiler range, the Ecoboiler on Stand S1610 at Hotelympia 2008.

Available from the early spring of 2008, the Ecoboiler range is designed to be environmentally friendly by using less energy to produce the same volume of hot water. In fact, it uses 15% less energy than previous water boilers and equals the best in its class for energy efficiency. It is equipped with "Eco mode". This is a reduced tank water option, for use in quieter periods when a lower volume of water is heated, thus saving even more energy and further reducing running costs. Its footprint is more compact than other boilers of similar capacity and so takes up less space in busy kitchens. Marco has also designed the new range to be aesthetically pleasing and it will not look out of place front of house. The ability to personalise the boiler livery to clients individual design requirements is an available option.

The new range is available in 5 and 10-litre push button models and 5, 10, 20 and 30-litre tap models - so there is a capacity to match the hot water requirements in most commercial kitchens. The Ecoboiler range is backward compatible with all Marco parts. All models in the Ecoboiler range have high quality, energy efficient insulation for maximum efficiency. The Ecoboiler benefits from patented Marco features AquaIsolate, a safety feature that positively separates the water from the electrics and EzDscale, which simplifies the process of descaling the machine. Ecoboilers have been designed with the engineer very much in mind, since all major components are easily accessible via the front panel. The new range complies with new WEEE regulations with disassembly instructions for end of life and recyclable parts.

‘INTELLIGENT' BREWER

Also previewed at the Show is Marco's latest "intelligent" filter coffee brewer, with an automatic "dump" facility for coffee after a pre-determined time to avoid customer complaints of stewed coffee.
