Kepak Convenience Foods has concluded an agreement with 3663 First for Foodservice whereby the wholesale distributor will supply the market-leading range of Rustlers hot snacking products into the foodservice sector.
"Rustlers' success in the hot snacking category highlights the potential sales opportunity for the foodservice sector," says Kepak Convenience Foods Sales Director, Peter Fazal. "We are introducing our most established and popular menu varieties like the burgers and sandwich options to help the foodservice market capitalise on the hot snack occasion."
Convenience is one of the primary attributes of the range and all Rustlers products can be microwaved in 40-50 seconds (based on 1900 watt microwave) with no mess or fuss.
"We believe Rustlers is suitable for both the profit and cost sectors and they are ideal for special usages such as out of hours dining and vending," says Peter. "The brand is hugely popular with students therefore university and colleges could also provide sales opportunities."
