Café Bar increases ethical range
Published:  07 February, 2008

Café Bar, a leading UK supplier of hot and cold beverage systems, is increasing its ethically branded range of ingredients with the inclusion of the new Malawi Garden and Kericho Estate teas to the portfolio.

Lipton's Kericho Estate, premium black tea, derives its name from the Kenyan Kericho Estate, which is 100% certified by the Rainforest Alliance. Best enjoyed with milk or lemon, the tea brews to perfection courtesy of Café Bar's Scanomat beverage systems, which feature a hot water facility.

The new Malawi Garden tea, part of Café Bar's extensive range of Flavia ingredients is the company's first sustainable tea. Caterers choosing Malawi Garden will be directly supporting the community of the Kawalazi tea plantation in Malawi, probably one of the world's poorest nations.

Malawi Garden tea is a finely flavoured tea available in sealed filter sachets for use with Café Bar's Flavia range of ultra fresh, brew by pack drinks systems.
