PFF transforms plastic waste into food grade packaging

A Yorkshire based thermoformed packaging specialist has invested over £4 million in a new plant which produces food-grade plastic packaging directly from recycled PET including bottles.
PFF Thermoformed Packaging is one of the first companies of its kind capable of handling both the extrusion of post-consumer food-grade rPET film and the production of thermoformed packaging under one roof. This means the company, which supplies food producers across the UK, can take delivery of post-consumer waste PET and transform it into new thermoformed plastic food packaging within hours.
