Diversity is apparent with nearly 200 exhibitors who have booked so far. They range from new exhibitor Crown Direct, with amusement machines for adults and children and kiosks for various services including digital prints, through Breath Alcohol Testers, with their product, to Northern Ireland - Good Food is in our nature who are bringing 12 companies who have new food and drink products to offer visitors.

And visitors in droves are preparing to attend because they know that AVEX provides them with a fascinating insight into all that vending in its widest sense has to offer. With the addition of the Cooler Show an attendance of around 10,000 is anticipated, made up of buyers from leisure centres, hotels, visitor attractions, local government, caterers, blue chip companies, universities, hospitals and… well the list goes on and on. Visitors are not just limited to those from the UK, overseas visitors topped 12% last time and this has been built on with nearly 50 countries already represented amongst exhibitors and preregistered visitors.

Activity on the AVEX website is high and pre-registrations are building up fast, as you would expect. To share their enthusiasm and expectations of AVEX the following will give you a flavour.

• The Director of a filling station chain gave his requirements as help to choose, make a quick decision and update all equipment.
• The Regional Director for a significant vending operating company wants AVEX to excite him with new offerings and hopes to find some “new kids on the block” products.
• At least three large corporations want to research their requirements before putting out to tender within the next year.

With such variety and demand, AVEX 2007 featuring the Cooler Show should not be missed.
